Youth Baseball Clinic

As part of the Arizona Celebrity Baseball Weekend and the start of spring training in Arizona, each year The Scottsdale Charros hosts 300 deserving students for an afternoon on the field with the pros. Students learn baseball skills from Major League's finest, including Hall of Famers, players, and coaches with storied careers.

Steroid Awareness Program

As part of the Charro Foundation's desire to promote health and education for our youth, we work with the Taylor Hooton Foundation each year to address and deter the use of steroids by our student athletes.

Master's in Education Fellowship

Each year we award scholarship funds to working teachers - providing them the opportunity to pursue their Master's Degree in Education at Arizona State University. This initiative is one of our hallmark programs, underscoring The Charro Foundation's commitment to education and to the present and future generations of our community.

All-City Athletic Awards

As yet another part of The Charro Foundation's commitment to our youth, we have established the All-City Awards Banquets. These banquets allow us to provide greater recognition to outstanding student athletes three times each year, in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
